life will hand us stress
my daughter has many strengths
she will rise above
stress is a bummer
unless you hate pantaloons
then it's not so bad
why the pantaloons?
nine of ten scotsmen agree
the breeze is lovely
no scotsman was he
uncle bumble loved his kilt
caber tossing fool
beloved uncle
alive or dead is unknown
poke him with a stick
lacking haiku skills
but sock puppet theater
makes King Richard live
with two duck slippers
are movies reenacted
damien goes quack
possessed ducks amuse
but more amusing still are
knitted amoebas
knitting in haiku
like dismembered appendage
useless for victr'y

cheeky offspring she
shows not respect for knitting
forgets needle points
twixt mother and child
A cautious spouse should not go
fear the mother's wrath
Ask the dinkleberg
of words like caution and fear
he knows of neither
a wise son in law
but he fears the wrong person
uncle bumble wakes
HA! VICTORY IS MINE!
vict'ry is short lived
